Appendix F: Summaries Based on Industry/Sector Human Resource Studies

This appendix demonstrates the type of information that can be found in the human resource studies of a sample of the 30 sector councils that exist at this time. A similar type of labour market information for the multimedia industry can be found in Chapter 5, and LMI for the Telehealth industry is included in Chapter 2. Any sector reports that are not included here can be found on the Sectoral and Occupational Web site http://www.hrsdc.gc.ca/en/hip/hrp/sp/sp_index.shtml or requested from the Sector Studies Division of HRDC, Fax: (613) 957-2698.

The tables for summaries that have been updated retain the original information so the reader can compare the older information with the latest updates and see how the labour market conditions, the labour force requirements and the trends have changed for an industry or sector.

It is also worth noting the number of career resources that have been developed by the sector councils since their studies have come out.
