FITT is establishing national professional
training standards in international business to yield qualified
and certified graduates.

Five programs are available. Pilot
courses were introduced in five provinces across Canada in 1993.
They end with a locally written national examination.
Specialization needed in the following
areas:
- global entrepreneurship;
- international marketing;
- international trade finance;
- international physical distribution,
international trade research;
- legal aspects of international
trade; and
- international trade management.
